SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 10 (SeeNews) – Stock indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in negative territory on Thursday, mainly dragged down by a drop in the Industrial Holding Bulgaria share price [BUL:IHB] and venture capital firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C]stock market data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index lost 0.98% to 623.15 points, hurt by a 5.29% drop in shares of Industrial Holding Bulgaria.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria closed at 1.97 lev as 24,000 shares of the company changed hands.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.93% to 701.21 points, also dragged down by Industrial Holding Bulgaria.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded stocks on the BSE, fell 0.81% to 142.13 points, hurt by a 6.25% drop in Eleven Capital shares.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, shed 0.25% to 164.38 points, due to a 1.25% drop in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF].
Total turnover on the stock exchange’s main market fell to around 712,100 levs ($418,200/364,100 euros) from 1.5 million levs on Wednesday.
